Every Tuesday between 430-530 we visit Airbox Bounce Trampoline Park, Cramlington, where we run an exclusive bounce session, session's are hosted with autism in mind. There is no loud music, no flashing lights, staff are autism aware and numbers are limited.
Siblings are invited to attend and although the bounce age is 4 years plus, under 4's are welcome to use the soft play areas.
During the session you will find Airbox staff are very interactive with our members and on hand to help and support where possible.
The whole session including the cafe area is exclusive to our session.
To bounce it is £7 per person with 1 free carer place if needed.
Soft play £5 per person.
If you require socks they can be purchased at Airbox reception for £2 a pair.
Stay and Play is back and will be every other Thursday 4.30pm-5.30pm in Dan's Den at our centre in Cramlington.
As many of you will know Daniel McAdam loved coming to our stay and play sessions in room 22, it was one of his favourite places to visit, full of fun and laughter and with all of the toys he loved to play with, some very generously donated by his family. Therefore we thought it fitting to rename the room Dan's Den in his memory and help us keep his legacy alive.
We have a soft play area, ball pit, trampet, roll play toys and a sensory quite area.
Our session will involve structured sensory play with the option to play freely in a place where they can all enjoy the fun or chill out without a care in the world. Sessions will last 1 hour with time at the end to help tidy up whilst enjoying Dan's song and prepare for leaving. During this time parents/carers will be able to chat to others and enjoy a coffee.
This session is designed with autism in mind, not only to play and enjoy their time in Dan's Den but to support their development and manage individual challenges they may face day to day. There is no age limit for this session, siblings are welcome and place's are limited. £3 per person.
